Why do humans hold ear wax?

Why do humans hold ear wax?
The wax coats the outer part of the ear conduit, trapping germs and debris and preventing them from reaching the eardrum. If you didn't hold any your ears would, at a minimum, itch like hell.
Ear wax, sticky stuff that it is, traps anything foreign that flies, crawls, or is blown into the ear canal. Dirt, tiny bits of plant material, small insects, germs, and so forth are immobilized by wax. Think of wax as the sticky stuff on a No Pest Strip. The primary purpose of ear wax is to protect your ear strait and ear drum from such foreign materials.
to protect the ear
ear wax can protect from germs and foreign bodys. ears are like a self-cleaning oven, you really never hold to use a Q-tip or ear-cleaning kit since we own ear wax
(if you have a faultless condition [can't remember the name ] or audible range aid you may have to verbs your ears because they make too much ear wax.)
