its true! Same muscles that roll your eyes back assist open you throat. Gagging is a reflex newly like rolling your eyes vertebrae. Its an involuntary response. Good Luck finding the real answer.

They dont.I threw up a few weeks ago after eating a poorly cooked soy sandwich and I can remember seeing the pukeing process...yuck.

I don't do that when I throw up. It might just be something your body is doing.
